Review: Baby Driver

Having nutured the film for nearly twenty years from concept to realisation, one could argue that Baby Driver is writer-director Edgar Wright's first-born. It marks the first steps of Wright stamping his auteuristic marks all over an original screenplay from his very own hand.

From the off, Wright's prologue is a show-stopping amuse bouche of action and music which foreshadows the next two hours of slick musical cues running in tandem with his speedy heist script.
